Cygnus CyFish 39
(also available 35′ – 39′)
In 1985 the CYGNUS CY39 first appeared as a development of the CYFISH 33 hull design from Ian Cullingworth. Since the CY39 has proven to be a reliable and popular semi displacement workboat for a range of applications.
With either single or twin diesel engines, usually straight shaft drives, a maximum speed of 25 knots is achievable with a comfortable cruising speed of 14-18 knots.
The CYFISH design is the benchmark for a any sea boat. Its performance in bad conditions makes it the preferred choice in its class. The craft can be fitted with various sized ‘trawler’ style wheelhouses, offset and extended if required. Also available is the ‘Sea Angler’ and ‘Pilot’ style superstructures.
Built in accordance with the rules and survey of SFIA/BIM/MCA etc these vessels with a proven pedigree can be supplied at any stage of completion for home or local boatyard fit out.

The Cygnus Cyfish 39
The Cygnus Cyfish FC can be built in the size 33 to 39 feet and any length in between. These are the original Cygnus moulds. There is a choice of three different wheelhouses: The fisherman (trawler style) wheelhouse, the Angling wheelhouse and the Forward Control wheelhouse. See the pictures section for the different wheelhouses.
The hull is a strong, fast and bespoke semi-planning hull. The vessel has a large cockpit area. The developed shines and spray deflectors provide a very stable platform and a dry ride. The Cygnus Cyfish is the benchmark for any sea boat in its length.
Its performance in bad conditions makes it the preferred choice in its class. It can be supplied at any stage of completion for home or local boatyard fit out, or fully finished at our boat-building yard in Ireland.
